Highways MD appointed to lead Safer Highways advisory board

One of Galliford Try’s Senior Leadership Team has again been appointed to a significant industry-wide role, with David Lowery, Managing Director of Galliford Try’s Highways business, named as the new chair of the Safer Highways advisory board.

Safer Highways is an industry-wide organisation that acts as a voice for the sector to champion improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing. With over 150 members, the organisation seeks to drive improvements in the care of the workforce that create the major infrastructure that our country relies on.

David has been invited to chair the advisory board in recognition of both his passion for people and his mission to improve industry practice, and the emphasis that both he and Galliford Try place on health, safety, and wellbeing excellence. The appointment highlights the sector-leading expertise within the Group, and its commitment to collaborating and engaging with the wider industry.
