Galliford Try’s Highways business is pleased to have achieved re-accreditation for the ‘Leaders in Diversity Award’ from the National Centre for Diversity for its continued commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), following assessment.

The award is recognised as a national equality standard, providing organisations with a bespoke approach for improving Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement (FREDIE) practices in the workplace, and this marks Galliford Try’s third consecutive year of being recognised. It confirms Galliford Try’s approach to empowering its leaders and senior managers to become agents of change for EDI.

Commenting on the success, David Lowery, Managing Director of Galliford Try’s Highways business, said: “Our Sustainable Growth Strategy rightly identifies that if we create a culture and working environment where everyone feels valued, included and motivated to give their best, we will succeed in our ambitions, and that begins with inclusivity. I am therefore delighted that our hard work and efforts as a business, in this area, have been rewarded with this excellent recognition and I thank all our teams for making Galliford Try the people-orientated, progressive and values-driven business we are.”

Galliford Try has been nominated in the ‘Large Business of the Year’ category at the National Centre for Diversity’s FREDIE Awards in June 2022.
