The Broad Marsh car park project has received further plaudits, picking up three prizes at the East Midlands Brick Awards.

The £43m scheme, which created a new car park, bus station and city library in the heart of Nottingham for Nottingham City Council, won the awards for Sustainable Development of the Year and Commercial Development of the Year. In addition, the project was selected as the Overall Winner at the event.

The East Midlands Bricks Awards are an annual event hosted by East Midlands Business Link Magazine and serve to recognise excellence in commercial and public building projects around the region.

Broad Marsh has already been celebrated at the Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards, winning the Integration and Collaborative Working Award, as well as being Highly Commended in the Construction Project of the Year category.

Jon Marston, Managing Director of Building East Midlands, commented: “We are immensely proud of the work that has taken place at Broad Marsh, and this further recognition is just reward for the efforts of the team. I congratulate all those involved for their achievement in winning these three awards.”
