Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence business has secured a position on lot 4 of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) £600m Science Estate Engineering Framework.

The four-year framework covers design, build, installation, commissioning, and handover of security services on Defra’s centres across the UK, with a focus on specialist facilities in Weybridge, Surrey. The framework also covers security work at sites in Wales, Devon, Cumbria, Tyne and Wear, Shropshire, Suffolk, and Nottinghamshire.

The Defra award comes following Galliford Try’s rebranding of their Security and Active Fire capability earlier this year as Asset Intelligence. The business works on ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of government, public and regulated sector clients through the provision of physical and electronic security and active fire services.

Uzair Osman, Managing Director of the Asset Intelligence business, commented: “Providing security to the Defra estate aligns closely to our core skillsets and growing national presence as electronic and physical security partner of choice. We look forward to working closely with Defra to support the security and wellbeing of their staff and stakeholders.”
